In August 2011, we traveled to Rwanda to begin a 4 months field practicum so that Emily could finish her field work required by her graduate program at Eastern University. She worked with an organization called Azizi Life, while Jon took time to relax in East Africa's beauty, worked on personal projects and built relationships with whoever he crossed paths with.
We are so thankful for this adventure, what God taught us and the beautiful friendships He provided! We thank our readers, friends + family for all the love, support and prayers that they sent our way during this time. Without you all, we would have had a much different experience!
